Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Peter Pan & Wendy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, Interview with the Vampire, The Old Man and the Gun, Strange Angel). Also included is the original song All Grown Up written and produced by Hart and performed by Molly Parker (with vocal produced by Fiora Cutler), as well as two songs written by Curtis Glenn Heath and performed by Ian Tracey. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Capitol Records has released the fifth soundtrack EP for the Paramount+ original series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. The EP features the original songs from the musical comedy’s fifth episode (co-written by Justin Tranter who serves as the project’s executive music producer): The Boom performed by Marisa Davila, Merely Players by Ari Notartomaso and Election Song by Jackie Hoffman. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the NBC drama Quantum Leap. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Daniel James Chan (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Emergence). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 28 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Quantum Leap is developed by Steven Lilien & Bryan Wynbrandt based on the Don Bellisario-created late 80s/early 90s series of the same name and stars Raymond Lee, Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander Park, Ernie Hudson and Nanrisa Lee. Kenneth Branagh announced today that Hildur Guđnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl, Women Talking, Tar, Sicario: Day of the Soldado) will compose the original score for the upcoming supernatural mystery thriller A Haunting in Venice. The follow-up to Murder on the Orient Express & Death on the Nile (scored by Patrick Doyle) is directed by Branagh and stars the filmmaker himself, Kyle Allen, Michelle Yeoh, Camille Cottin, Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Kelly Reilly, Emma Laird and Riccardo Scamarcio. The movie is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve and follows Hercule Poirot as he reluctantly attends a séance, when one of the guests is murdered. Disney announced today that Dave Metzger (Brother Bear 2, Tarzan & Jane, Tarzan 2: The Legend Begins) is scoring the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming feature Wish. It was also announced that Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice has joined Julia Michaels to write the original songs for the movie directed by Chris Buck & Fawn Veerasunthorn and starring Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine and Alan Tudyk.
