Milan Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the third season of the Netflix original series The Witcher. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is The Ride of the Witcher by the show’s composer Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman) and performed by actor Joey Batey feat. John Bowers has released a soundtrack album for the horror comedy Jethica. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Jethica is co-written and directed by Pete Ohs and stars Callie Hernandez, Will Madden, Andy Faulkner and Ashley Denise Robinson. The movie follows a young woman hiding out in New Mexico after a freak accident who – together with an old friend from high school – must seek help from beyond when her stalker suddenly shows up at her door. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack EP for the Disney Channel animated series Hailey’s On It!. The EP features six songs from the show’s first season written by Matthew Tishler (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) & Andrew Underberg (The J Team) and performed by Auli’i Cravalho (who voices the title character), Onestar and Wade O. Brown. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to all six songs below. Over the last week, Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia, The MartianMulanMan on FireKingdom of Heaven) has been recording his score for the upcoming stop-motion animated sequel Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. Arts Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The Volume 3 album features selections of the score from the show’s third season composed by Michael Kramer (Ninjago, The Ghost and Molly McGee, LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales & Summer Vacation). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. Songwriter/record producer Kool Kojak has made his feature film scoring debut on the upcoming comedy First Time Female Director. The film is written and directed by Chelsea Peretti and stars Peretti herself, Amy Poehler, Kate Berlant, Megan Stalter, Benito Skinner, Megan Mullally, Blake Anderson, Natasha Leggero, Jak Knight, Xosha Roquemore, Andy Richter, Max Greenfield, Tim Heidecker and Brad Hall. Este Haim (of HAIM) (Maid, Cha Cha Real Smooth) serves as the music consultant of the movie, which follows a playwright working for a small theater in Glendale who is thrust into the leadership role and quickly discovers that being a director may be a lot more challenging than she originally thought. The film is directed by Diego Hurtado de Mendoza (The Redeem Team) & Lisa Cortés (Little Richard: I Am Everything, All In: The Fight for Democracy) and explores the experiences of the first Black astronauts.
