Back Lot Music has released the original song Lil Mega Minion from Illumination Entertainment’s animated sequel Despicable Me 4. The track is produced by LOTTO and co-written (with Devon Alan Smith & Cole Bennett) and performed by Lil Yachty and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Columbia Records has previously released Pharrell Williams’ original track Double Life earlier this month and a full soundtrack album featuring Heitor Pereira’s original score from the film will be released in the coming weeks. ‘Beguinas’ Soundtrack Album Released

Atresmúsica has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish TV series Beguinas. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Kaelo Del Rio (3 Wise Men, Spanish Western). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track and end credits track after the jump. Beguinas is created by Irene Rodríguez and stars Amaia Aberasturi, Yon González, Beatriz Segura, Jaime Olías, Ella Kweku and Silma López. The period drama is set in the 16th Century and revolves around a woman celebrating her engagement, when her fiancée receives a letter from a woman claiming to be her mother and requesting her to come to her deathbed. Jamie Christopherson (Running WildA California Christmas, Bennett’s War, LeavePerfect Harmony, The Ride) has signed on to score the upcoming horror movie The Necklace. The film is directed by Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz and stars Henry Thomas, Sarah Lind, Madeleine McGraw, Violet McGraw, Felix Solis, Christina Moore, Jacob Moran and Brynne Kurland. The ESX Entertainment production is set in the 1960s and follows an abusive husband and father of two girls who is trying to win back his wife who left him with a beautiful antique necklace, which turns out to be a conduit for the tormented soul of an evil boy from long ago, putting his family in grave danger. Premiering today is the AMC original series Orphan Black: Echoes created by Anna Fishko and starring Krysten Ritter, Keeley Hawes, Rya Kihlstedt, Amanda Fix, James Hiroyuki Liao and Avan Jogia. The show’s original score is composed by Trevor Yuile (Into the BadlandsKilljoysStag) who previously scored the original Orphan Black. Julien Baker feat. Calvin Lauber has contributed the project’s theme song, which has just been released as a digital single by Boat Rocker. Premiering on Tuesday, June 25, is the Hulu original documentary Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy & Trish Dalton about the life of the Belgian fashion designer and cultural luminary. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime drama The Bikeriders written and directed by Jeff Nichols and starring Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, Norman Reedus, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp, Emory Cohen and Karl Glusman. The film’s original score is composed by David Wingo (Barry, Mayans, M.C., The Report, Our Brand Is Crisis, Kidding). Mutant and Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album featuring thirteen 60s songs from the movie by artists such as The Sonics, Gary U.S. Bonds, Dale Hawkins, The Stooges, The Staple Singers, The Shangri-Las, Mickey Murray, among others, as a vinyl edition later this summer. The show is created by Ramón Campos & Gema R. Neira (Grand Hotel, Cable Girls) and Paula Fernández inspired by Sandra Barneda’s bestselling novel La tierra de las mujeres and stars Eva Longoria, Carmen Maura, Victoria Bazúa and Santiago Cabrera. The 6-part dramedy directed by Carlos Sedes revolves around a well-to-do New Yorker who has her life turned upside down when her husband fails to repay a debt to the wrong people and is forced to leave the city with her mother and teenage daughter and travel to her mother’s hometown in northern Spain to start life anew and hope their identities remain hidden.
