Premiering tonight is the HBO limited series is the HBO limited series DTF St. Louis created by Steven Conrad and starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini, Richard Jenkins, Peter Sarsgaard, Arlan Ruf, Joy Sunday and Chris Perfetti. The show’s original music is composed by Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Something Borrowed, Four Christmases, The Switch) . Also premiering tonight is the CBS drama Marshals created by Spencer Hudnut and starring Luke Grimes, Logan Marshall-Green, Gil Birmingham, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Mo Brings Plenty and Tatanka Means. Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Iron Man 3, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World) and Breton Vivian (1883, Five Feet Apart, 1923, Redeeming Love, Black Dog) are composing the show’s original music. ‘Power Ballad’ to Feature Original Songs by Gary Clark & John Carney

Songwriter/record producer Gary Clark and director John Carney (Once, Begin Again) have written the original songs for the upcoming musical comedy drama Power Ballad. They also composed the original score for the film directed by Carney and starring Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Havana Rose Liu, Marcella Plunkett and Jack Reynor. The movie follows a past-his-prime wedding singer who crosses paths with a fading boyband star during a gig, but when his new friend turns one of his songs into the hit that reignites his career, he sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves. Niki Sherrod received the top honor in the Best Music Supervision in Major Budget Films category for her work on Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. Gabe Hilfer received the award in the Mid-Level Budget Films category for his music supervision on Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme and Sarah Bromberg & Stephanie Diaz-Matos were honored in the Low Budget Films category for their music supervision on Lawrence Lamont’s One of Them Days. Tom Howe (Dog Man, Ted Lasso, Knuckles, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Daisy Jones & the Six, Early Man, Book Club: The New Chapter) has provided the original score for the new MGM+ original series American Classic. The show is created by Michael Hoffman (One Fine Day, Promised Land) & Bob Martin (The Prom, Sensitive Skin) and stars Kevin Kline, Laura Linney, Jon Tenney, Len Cariou, Jessica Hecht, Nell Verlaque, Tony Shalhoub, Billy Carter, Ajay Friese, Stephen Spinella, Aaron Tveit, Jane Alexander, Elise Kibler and Mark Linn-Baker. Columbia Records has released the fifth song from the soundtrack for the slasher sequel Scream 7. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Criminal co-written (with Laura Veltz & Steven Rusch) and performed by Jessie Murph. Also check out the official visualizer music video after the jump. Four other songs (Rearranging Scars by Sueco, Twisting the Knife by Ice Nine Kills feat. Mckenna Grace, Creepin by Don Toliver & The Kill by Stella Lefty) from the movie have previously been released over the last two weeks. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the slasher sequel Scream 7 co-written and directed by Kevin Williamson and starring Neve Campbell, Isabel May, Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Michelle Randolph, Matthew Lillard, Anna Camp, David Arquette, Asa Germann, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos, Jimmy Tatro, Celeste O’Connor, Tim Simons and Joel McHale. The film’s original score is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, A Quiet Place, Logan, Ford v. Ferrari, The Wolverine, The Hurt Locker, Hellboy) who previously composed the music for the first four installments. No score album has been announced yet. Several songs from the movie have been released as digital singles over the last two weeks. Opening semi-wide in a few hundred AMC theaters this weekend is the comedy K-Pops! co-written and directed by Anderson .Paak and starring the singer/songwriter himself, Soul Rasheed, Jonnie “Dumbfoundead” Park, Jee Young Han, and Yvette Nicole Brown. Emily Bear (Moana 2, The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, Dog Gone, Our Little Secret) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album is expected to be released in the coming weeks. A first song from the soundtrack (but not featured/credited in the movie), Keychain by aespa & Anderson .Paak), was released as a digital single today. EmmoLei Sankofa (The Other Black Girl, Step Up, Launchpad: Project CC, Three Ways) has released a soundtrack album for the boxing drama Undercard. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Undercard is co-written and directed by Tamika Miller and stars Wanda Sykes, Bentley Green, Xavier Mills, Roselyn Sánchez, William Stanford Davis, Berto Colón and Estella Kahiha. Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World) and Breton Vivian (Five Feet Apart, Redeeming Love, Black Dog) are returning to score new CBS drama Marshals. The Yellowstone spinoff is created by Spencer Hudnut (SEAL Team) and stars Luke Grimes who reprises his role of Kayce Dutton, alongside Logan Marshall-Green, Gil Birmingham, Ash Santos, Arielle Kebbel,  Tatanka Means and Mo Brings Plenty. ‘TRON Ares: Divergence’ Album Released

First Song from Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released

Netflix Music has released the first song from the soundtrack for the second season of the streamer’s original series One Piece. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is Pray to the Sun written by the show’s composers Sonya Belousova & Giona Ostinelli and performed by Declan de Barra & the Mongolian folk metal band The Hu. Also listen to track after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring the songs and score from the new season will be released next month. One Piece is developed by Matt Owens & Steven Maeda based on the Manga series of the same title and stars Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Taz Skylar, Jacob Romero and Charithra Chandran.
