Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Jinx – Part Two directed by Andrew Jarecki. The show’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Phoenix Forgotten, Fatman, The Girlfriend Experience, Red Right Hand, Silk Road). The follow-up to 2015’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst continue the filmmaker’s investigation for the next eight years, uncovering hidden material, Durst’s prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward earlier. The 6-parter will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.

Premiering tomorrow, April 22, is the Disneynature documentary Tiger directed by Mark Linfield, co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz & Rob Sullivan and narrated by Priyanka Chopra. Nitin Sawhney (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, The Namesake, Breathe, What’s Love Got to Do With It?, Traitors, A Girl from Mogadishu) has composed the film’s original music. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Alex Heffes Scoring Hulu’s & Disney+’s ‘Shardlake’

Composer Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Queen of Katwe, The Rite, Touching the Void, State of Play) is reuniting with director Justin Chadwick on the new British Hulu/Disney+ original series Shardlake. The show is written by Stephen Butchard (The Last Kingdom, Baghdad Central) based on the popular novels by C.J. Sansom, directed by Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl, Tulip Fever) and stars Arthur Hughes, Sean Bean, Anthony Boyle, Babou Ceesay, Paul Kaye, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Matthew Steer, Peter Firth, Brian Vernel, David Pearse, Irfan Shamji, Miles Barrow, Mike Noble and Kimberley Nixon. The 4-part murder mystery is set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries and follows the title character whose sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when he gets instructed to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the vampire horror movie Abigail directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett and starring Melissa Barrera, Alisha Weir, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Angus Cloud, Kevin Durand and Giancarlo Esposito. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians,  Fast & Furious, Yellowstone, Ready or Not). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song by Jean Dawson today. Also opening wide is the action comedy The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Henry Golding, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Til Schweiger and Cary Elwes. Chris Benstead (The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, Wrath of Man, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is expected to be released in the coming weeks by Atlantic Screen Music. Nima Fakhrara (Lou, Becky,Detroit: Become Human, The Signal, Alone, The Pyramid, The Girl in the Photographs) has teamed up with Charlie Sun to score the new horror thriller Bloodline Killer. The film is directed by Ante Novakovic (Leaves of the Tree) and stars Shawnee Smith, Taryn Manning, Drew Moerlein, Bruce Dern and Tyrese Gibson. The movie revolves around a woman who endeavors to rebuild her shattered life after the murder of her family at the hands of her deranged and obsessed cousin. Netflix Music has released the original song If I Catch You from the new Netflix limited series A Man in Full. The track co-written (with Nic Humes) and performed by Tobe Nwigwe feat. Coast Contra is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song below. ‘Doom’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2005 sci-fi action adventure Doom based on video game series of the same title, directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, Razaaq Adoti and Dwayne Johnson. The 2-CD set features the expanded original score from the film composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream,  Black Swan, The Fountain, Noah, Peacemaker, Rebecca, Love Lies Bleeding, Moon, The Wrestler, Stoker), including over an hour of previously unreleased music. The Deluxe Edition soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also find out more about the release. ‘What Lies Beneath’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2000 supernatural horror thriller What Lies Beneath directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Diana Scarwid, James Remar, Joe Morton and Miranda Otto. The Deluxe Edition soundtrack features the original score from the DreamWorks Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Avengers: Endgame, Forrest Gump, The Mummy Returns, The Polar Express, Cast Away, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix original film Stolen (Stöld). The album features the movie’s original music composed by Lasse Enersen (Tom of Finland, Legend of the Ancient Sword, The Abyss, There’s Something in the Barn,Cold Courage, The Misfits) & Henri Vartio (The Redeemers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the composers’ first track (Evil and Good) below. Stolen is directed by Elle Márjá Eira and stars Elin Kristina Oskal, Martin Wallström, Lars-Ánte Wasara, Risten-Alida Siri Skum, Magnus Kuhmunen and Anne Lajla Westerfjell Kalstad.
