Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Outrun. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Gürtler & Jan Miserre (System Crasher, A Mouthful of Air, For Jojo, Kids Run, Space Dogs, Fig Tree). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 13 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl edition is also in the works. A first track (Corncrake) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Outrun is co-written and directed by Nora Fingscheidt and stars Saoirse Ronan, Paapa Essiedu, Saskia Reeves and Stephen Dillane. The movie is based on Amy Liptrot’s memoir and revolves around a young woman who must wrestle with recovery in the remote islands of Orkney whilst reckoning with her complex family history. East Bank Studios will release a soundtrack album for the martial arts action thriller Lady Scorpions.
