22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Winter in Sokcho (Hiver à Sokcho). The album features the film’s original music composed by Delphine Malaussena (Final Set, The Blade, Moon, LaRoy, 66 Questions). Winter in Sokcho is co-written and directed by Koya Kamura and stars Bella Kim, Roschdy Zem, Mi-Hyeon Park, Doyu Gong, Tae-Ho Ryu and Kyung-Soon Jung. Genie Music & CJ Entertainment have released a soundtrack album for the South Korean historical/biographical spy thriller Harbin. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cho Young-Wuk (Oldboy, The Handmaiden, The Sympathizer, Thirst, Lady Vengeance, Decision to Leave, The Little Drummer Girl). The Cinema Audio Society has announced the nominees for the 61st Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing. For the past couple of years, scoring mixers have been recognized alongside re-recording, production, ADR and foley mixers. In the Motion Pictures – Live Action category, the scoring mixers honored include Nick Baxter for James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown (on which Baxter also served as the executive music producer), Peter Cobbin for Shawn Levy’s Deadpool vs. Wolverine (music by Rob Simonsen), Alan Meyerson for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two (scored by Hans Zimmer) & Gladiator II (scored by Harry Gregson-Williams) and John Michael Caldwell for Jon M. New Soundtrack Release for Kelly Reichardt’s ‘Old Joy’ Announced

Mississippi Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2006 indie drama Old Joy written and directed by Kelly Reichardt and starring Lars Knudsen, Neil Kopp, Anish Savjani and Jay Van Hoy. The 6-track EP features the film’s original score composed by the indie rock band Yo La Tengo (Junebug, Adventureland, Shortbus, Far from the Tree). The soundtrack will be released digitally and (for the first time) on vinyl on February 28. The music has previously been released as part of Yo La Tengo’s compilation album They Shoot, We Score.
