Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring two previously unreleased scores composed by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Tombstone, Rescuers Down Under, Young Sherlock Holmes, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Homeward Bound, Lost in Space). The album includes the composer’s score for the 1982 CBS movie One Shoe Makes It Murder directed by William Hale and starring Robert Mitchum & Angie Dickinson, as well as his music for the 1981 television movie Killjoy directed by John Llewellyn Moxey and starring Kim Basinger, Robert Culp, Stephen Macht, John Rubenstein & Nancy Marchand. Television Academy Announces Rule Change in ‘Main Title Theme’ Category

The Television Academy has announced a number of rules changes for the 78th & 79th Emmy Awards competition in 2025 & 2026, including an update in the Music – Main Title Theme category for 2026. The new rules state that a “Main Title Theme must appear in 50% or more of eligible episodes submitted for the 2026 Emmy competition. The Main Title Theme has been further defined as a musical fingerprint and calling card that is identifiable and unique to a show, thereby drawing an audience in by setting the show’s tone and what is to come.” Read the rest of this entry »
