A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure The Legend of Ochi. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter David Longstreth (of the indie rock band Dirty Projectors) (Love Me). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 25 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Three first tracks (Prelude, The Pond & The River) are already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Legend of Ochi is written and directed by Isaiah Saxon and stars Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson and Willem Dafoe. The movie is set in a remote village on the island of Carpathia and tells the story of a shy farm girl who is raised to fear an elusive animal species known as ochi, but when she discovers a wounded baby ochi has been left behind, she escapes on a quest to bring him home. The fantasy adventure premiered at this year’s Sundance Festival and will be released in select theaters on April 18 by A24 before expanding nationwide on April 25.
