Warner Music Denmark & SF Studios Production have released a new soundtrack album for the Danish Netflix original film A Beautiful Life. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Thomas Volmer Schulz (Toscana, Kollision, While We Live, Alpha). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Parlophone Music has previously released a separate album featuring the original songs by Christopher (who also stars in the lead role) from the drama earlier this year. A Beautiful Life is directed by Mehdi Avaz and also stars Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Sebastian Jessen, Christine Albeck Børge, Jonathan Harboe Ardalan Esmaili and Paw Henriksen. Ala Bianca Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature No Dogs or Italians Allowed (Manodopera / Interdit aux chiens et aux Italiens). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Nicola Piovani (Life Is Beautiful, The Best Years, The Tiger and the Snow, PinocchioThe Traitor, Hungry Hearts). Premiering on Tuesday, October 24, is the documentary Milli Vanilli directed by Luke Korem about the titular superstar duo. The film’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, The Girlfriend Experience, FatmanPhoenix ForgottenSilk Road). The movie, which explores the duo’s ascension to success that came with a devastating price that ultimately led to their infamous undoing, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will make its streaming debut on Paramount+.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 25, is the Netflix original documentary series Life on Our Planet narrated by Morgan Freeman and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Alastair Fothergill, Keith Scholey, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam) has composed the show’s original music. Banijay Music has released a soundtrack album for the new ITV drama Three Little Birds. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Benjamin Burrell (Shortcut). Volker Bertelmann was named Film Composer of the Year at the 23rd World Soundtrack Awards, tonight’s closing event of the 50th Ghent Film Festival, for his scores for Edward Berger’s All Quiet of the Western Front (for which he also received the Academy Award earlier this year), the Norwegian World War II drama War Sailor and Saara Saarela’s sci-fi drama Memory of WaterNicholas Britell was honored as TV Composer of the Year today for his score for the fourth and final season of the HBO original series Succession and his music for the first season of Disney+’s Star Wars series Andor. Opening in theaters nationwide is the crime drama Killers of the Flower Moon co-written and directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow and Brendan Fraser. The film’s original music is composed by Robbie Robertson (The Color of MoneyThe Irishman) who also served as the project’s executive music producer. Colombian musician, sound artist and composer Lucrecia Dalt (The Seed, The Baby) has been hired to score the upcoming horror feature Rabbit Trap. The film is written and directed by Bryn Chainey and stars Dev Patel, Rosy McEwen and Jade Croot. The movie tells the story two married musicians who have relocated from London to an isolated cabin in Wales in order to complete their new record, when they accidentally make a field recording of a mystical sound and find themselves caught between the ancient spirits of the natural world and the lives they once knew.
