transformers-4Paramount Pictures has released a score album for Michael Bay’s sci-fi action sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Pain & Gain, The Island, Ender’s Game) who also scored the previous three Transformers movies. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. A soundtrack EP featuring four tracks of the composer’s music was previously released earlier this week. Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Bingbing Li, Titus Welliver and TJ Miller. ex-machinaBen Salisbury and Geoff Barrow are composing the music for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Ex Machina. The film is written and directed by Alex Garland (The Beach28 Days Later…SunshineDredd) and stars Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac and Alicia Vikander. Andrew Macdonald (TrainspottingThe Beach) is producing the DNA Films production with Allon Reich (Never Let Me Go, 28 Weeks Later).  Scott Rudin (No Country for Old MenThe Social NetworkCaptain Phillips) and Eli Bush serve as  executive producers on the project, alongside Tessa Ross. ‘America’ Soundtrack Released

americaSensory Overload Music has released a soundtrack album for the documentary America. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bryan E. Miller. Also included is Madison Rising’s rendition of Star Spangled Banner. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. America is directed by Dinesh D’Souza & John Sullivan (2016: Obama’s America) and tells the story of the heroes who built America: Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, and others. Academy Award-winner Gerald R. Molen (Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park, Minority Report) is producing the project. The movie has been released nationwide this past Wednesday by Lionsgate. hans-zimmerDetails have been announced for the concert Hans Zimmer Revealed, which will take place on October 10 & 11, 2014 at the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo in London. The Academy Award-winning composer will be accompanied by a band of players mixing traditional orchestral instruments with rock and electronica, and will be joined by a few surprise special guests. The concert will be in two parts: the first featuring of Zimmer’s classic movie scores, such as The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and Gladiator; and the second featuring re-imagined versions of such titles as Inception and The Dark Knight with special guests from the rock and pop world. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jean-Pascal Beintus who has served as an orchestrator for composer Alexandre Desplat over the past decade. The soundtrack is now available digitally on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. United Passions stars Gérard Depardieu as Jules Rimet, the man who created the World Cup and served as FIFA president from 1921 to 1954. Tim Roth plays Sepp Blatter and Sam Neill as João Havelange, the body’s seventh president. Also starring is Thomas Kretschmann as Adidas founder Horst Dassler, as well as Fisher Stevens as Carl Hirschmann. everestDario Marianelli has been hired to score the upcoming adventure drama Everest. The film is directed by Baltasar Kormakur (Contraband, 2 Guns) and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Jason Clarke, Keira Knightley, Robin Wright, Sam Worthington, Emily Watson, Clive Standen, Martin Henderson, Thomas Wright, Michael Kelly and John Hawkes. The movie is based on the 1996 disaster on Everest that left eight climbers dead and follows the two different expeditions that challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind.
