Paramount Pictures has released a score album for Michael Bay’s sci-fi action sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Pain & Gain, The Island, Ender’s Game) who also scored the previous three Transformers movies. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. A soundtrack EP featuring four tracks of the composer’s music was previously released earlier this week. Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Bingbing Li, Titus Welliver and TJ Miller. The sequel is currently the No. 1 movie at the domestic box office and is now playing in theaters nationwide.

The EP is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. A full soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is reportedly in the works. Opening in Los Angeles and New York before expanding nationwide is the musical comedy drama Begin Again written and directed by John Carney and starring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Adam Levine, Hailee Steinfeld, James Corden, Ceelo Green and Catherine Keener. 222 Records in partnership with Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film written by Gregg Alexander, who also provided the film’s original score, as well as Danielle Brisebois, Nick Lashley, Nick Southwood, Rick Nowels, John Carney and Glen Hansard and performed by the film’s cast. ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ to Feature Original Song by Imagine Dragons
Imagine Dragons have written the original song Battle Cry for Michael Bay’s upcoming action sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction. The band also contributed original music during the scoring process by recording cues with the film’s composer Steve Jablonsky, and Hans Zimmer, who assisted in the process. The songs is said to be used in critical points during the movie. Imagine Dragons will perform the new single live at the film’s worldwide premiere in Hong Kong. Steve Jablonsky & Nathan Whitehead to Score TNT’s ‘The Last Ship’
Steve Jablonsky and Nathan Whitehead have signed on to compose the music for the upcoming TNT original series The Last Ship. Jablonsky is composing the main themes and Whitehead is providing the score for the show created by Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace) and Steven Kane (The Closer) and starring Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra, Adam Baldwin and Tracy Middendorf. The drama opens with a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world’s population and follows the crew of a lone naval destroyer who must find a way to pull humanity from the brink of extinction. Michael Bay is producing the project with his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form (A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Amityville Horror), alongside Steinberg and Kane.
