She will oversee all creative and production aspects of music for Lionsgate’s film scores, songs and soundtracks. Among the projects she is currently working on are the studios’ upcoming features Allegiant: Part 1Gods Of EgyptNow You See Me: The Second Act, John Wick 2, La La Land Power RangersThe OdysseyRobin Hood: Origins and Monopoly. Dunning previously served as senior VP at Downtown Music Publishing and also served as VP of film music at 20th Century Fox, where she oversaw the music for such movies as Life of PiJuno, (500) Days of Summer, Chronicle, The Heat and The Wolverine. The film is directed by Jim Sheridan (My Left FootGet Rich or Die Tryin’In the Name of the Father) and stars Rooney Mara, Vanessa Redgrave, Theo James, Eric Bana, Jack Reynor and Aiden Turner. The movie is based on Sebastian Barry’s 2008 novel of the same title and follows a 100-year-old woman who recounts her life in mental institutions in a secret memoir, is gearing up for a September shoot in Ireland. The World Soundtrack Academy has announced the nominees for the 2015 World Soundtrack Awards to be presented in three categories: Film Composer of the Year, Best Original Score of the Year and Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film. The winners will be announced at the World Soundtrack Awards & concert on Saturday, October 24, the closing night of the Ghent International Film Festival. Here are the nominations:

The film marks the English language debut of director Zhang Yimou (House of Flying Daggers, Hero) and stars Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, Andy Lau, Zhang Hanyu and Eddie Peng. The movie tells the story of an elite force making a last stand for humanity on the world’s most iconic structure. zipperLakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the thriller Zipper. The album features the film’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (The Square, Cartel Land, Murder in the First). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 28, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. the-secret-of-nimhIntrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1982 animated feature The Secret of NIMH directed by Don Bluth and featuring the voices of Elizabeth Hartman, Dom DeLuise, Derek Jacobi, Hermione Baddeley, Peter Strauss and John Carradine. The album features the film’s expanded original score composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Patton, Chinatown) who recorded his music with the National Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ambrosian Singers, including previously unreleased music and three demo recordings feat. The movie centers on a New York teenager seeking to transition from female to male and the relationship with her single mother who is coming to terms with having to raise her only daughter as a son. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (ScreamThe WolverineWorld War Z3:10 to Yuma). Hitman: Agent 47 is directed by Aleksander Bach and stars Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds and Thomas Kretschmann. The movie based on the Hitman video game series centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck.
