Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the faith-based drama God’s Not Dead 2 directed by Harold Cronk and starring Melissa Joan Hart, Jesse Metcalfe, David A.R. White, Ernie Hudson, Hayley Orrantia, Robin Givens, Fred Dalton Thompson, Maria Canals-Barrera and Sadie Robertson. The film’s original music is composed by Will Musser who previously scored the 2014 original film. Fair Trade Services has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from and inspired by the film by such artists as Newsboys, Citizen Way, John Tibbs, Audio Adrenaline, The Afters, Micah Taylor & more. Also opening wide is the comedy Meet the Blacks directed by Deon Taylor and starring Mike Epps, George Lopez, Mike Tyson, Bresha Webb, Zulay Henao, Gary Owen, Charlie Murphy, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, Paul Mooney, Andrew Bachelor, Lil Duvall, Perez Hilton, DeRay Davis and Lavell Crawford. RZA has composed the film’s original score. Penalty Entertainment and Hidden Empire Group have released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by Shaggy, Trina feat. ‘The Wannabe’ Soundtrack Released

MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the crime drama The Wannabe. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nathan Larson (Boys Don’t Cry, Dirty Pretty Things, A Walk in the Woods, The Skeleton Twins). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. The Wannabe is written and directed by Nick Sandow and stars Patricia Arquette, Vincent Piazza, Domenick Lombardozzi, David Zayas and Michael Imperioli. The movie executive produced by Martin Scorsese is set in the early 1990s and follows a man obsessed with mob culture who attempts to fix the jury in the trial of John Gotti. Abel Korzeniowski to Score Tom Ford’s ‘Nocturnal Animals’

Abel Korzeniowski is reteaming with director Tom Ford on the upcoming dramatic thriller Nocturnal Animals. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams, Isla Fisher, Kim Basinger, Michael Shannon, Ellie Bamber and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The movie is based on the 1993 novel Tony And Susan by Austin Wright and follows a woman who receives a book manuscript from her ex-husband, a man whom she left 20 years earlier, asking for her opinion. ‘Louder Than Bombs’ Soundtrack Announced

The Orchard will release a soundtrack album for the drama Louder Than Bombs. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Beck, Tangerine Dream, Medium, Medium, Supreme Jubiles, Sylvester & more, as well as classical pieces by Mozart and Chopin. Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Ola Flottum (Force Majeure, Reprise, Oslo, August 31st). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 8, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Louder Than Bombs is directed by Joachim Trier and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Gabriel Byrne, Amy Ryan, Isabelle Huppert and Devin Druid. ‘Camino’ Soundtrack Details

ABKCO Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama Demolition. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Heart, Free, Eric Burdon & The Animals, My Morning Jacket, M. Demolition is directed by Jean-Marc Vallee (Wild, Dallas Buyers Club) and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Naomi Watts, Chris Cooper and Judah Lewis. Starz’s ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ to Feature Music by Shane Carruth

The drama follows a law student and intern at a prestigious firm who enters the world of transactional relationships. Soundtrack for Hulu’s ‘11.22.63’ to Be Released

The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, The Rite, State of Play). Sacha and Evgueni Galperine are currently scoring the HBO original movie The Wizard of Lies. The film is directed by Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Donnie Brasco, Sleepers) and stars Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer as Bernie and Ruth Madoff. Hank Azaria, Alessandro Nivola, Lily Rabe and Kristen Connolly are co-starring. The movie centers on Madoff’s massive Ponzi scheme, how it was perpetrated on the public and the trail of destruction it left in its wake, both for the victims and Madoff’s family. John Burnham Schwartz (Reservation Road), Sam Baum (Lie to Me) and Sam Levinson have written the script based on the book The Wizard of Lies by Diana Henriques.
