Dave Porter is composing the music for the new AMC original series Preacher. The show is developed by Evan Goldberg & Seth Rogen (This Is the End, The Interview) and show runner Sam Catlin based on the comic book franchise of the same title and stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Lucy Griffiths, Anatol Yusef, Tom Brooke, W. James Newton Howard has recently recorded his score for the upcoming HBO original movie All the Way. Trevor Morris has been tapped to score the upcoming NBC drama Emerald City. The show executive produced by David Schulner (Do No Harm), Shaun Cassidy (Invasion) & Matt Arnold (Siberia) is inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz and follows a 20-year-old Dorothy Gale and her K9 police dog who are transported to a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy. Tarsem Singh (The Cell, Mirror Mirror) who previously collaborated with the composer on 2011’s Immortals is set to direct all episodes.
