Dominic Lewis to Score ‘Henchmen’

henchmenDominic Lewis is set to score the upcoming animated feature Henchmen. The film is directed by Adam Wood and features the voice talent of James Marsden, Thomas Middleditch, Rosario Dawson, Jane Krakowski, Alfred Molina, Rob Riggle, Craig Robinson & Nathan Fillion. The animated comedy follows a new recruit to the Union of Evil, where he is assigned to a motley crew of blue-collar workers that is assigned to the Vault of Villainy where he accidentally steals the ultimate weapon. Wood has also written the screenplay with David Ray and Jay D. Waxman. Aaron Gilbert (A Single Shot, Daydream Nation, Welcome to Me) and Luke Carroll (Escape from Planet Earth) are producing the project for Bron Studios. Read the rest of this entry »

RZA Scoring ‘Meet the Blacks’

rzaRZA is composing, performing and producing the original music for the upcoming comedy Meet the Blacks. The film is directed by Deon Taylor (SupremacyChain Letter) and stars Mike Epps, George Lopez, Mike Tyson, Bresha Webb, Zulay Henao, Gary Owen, Charlie Murphy, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, Perez Hilton, Paul Mooney, Andrew Bachelor, Lil Duvall, DeRay Davis and Lavell Crawford. The movie is a spoof of the hit film series The Purge. Taylor is also producing the Hidden Empire Film Group production with Roxanne Avent and Shannon McIntosh (The Hateful Eight, Tusk). Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2015 will be presented on Oscar Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® and televised live on the ABC Television Network. ‘Rubble Kings’ Soundtrack Announced

The album features the songs inspired by the film by artists including Little Shalimar, eXquire, Cuz Lightyear, Ka, Run the Jewels, Boldy James and Tunde Adebimpe. The soundtrack will be released on January 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Rubble Kings is directed by Shan Nicholson, narrated by John Leguizamo, and chronicles life during the era of gang rule in New York City between 1968 and 1975, and tells the story of how a group of people did the impossible—brokering peace between rival street gangs—and how their actions and efforts impacted New York City. good-behaviorCharlie Clouser has signed on to score the upcoming TNT original series Good Behavior. The show is created by Chad Hodge and author Blake Crouch and stars Michelle Dockery, Juan Diego Botto, Terry Kinney and Lusia Strus. The drama is based on Crouch’s Letty Dobesh novels and follows a thief and a con artist fresh out of prison who overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man’s wife and sets out to derail the job, launching her on a collision course with the killer. Hodge and Crouch are also executive producing the project with Marty Adelstein (Prison BreakHanna) and Becky Clements (Last Man StandingAquarius). The album features the film’s original music composed and arranged by Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in the West, The Hateful EightThe MissionDays of Heaven) who previously collaborated with the director on such movies as Cinema ParadisoMalena and The Legend of 1900. The film is written and directed by Polly Steele and stars Juliet Stevenson, Jodhi May, Lucy Boynton, Karin Bertling, Stanley Weber, Eva Magyar, Simona Hughes and Elizabeth Webster. The movie is based on the memoirs of Helga Schneider and centers on four generations of women from the same family who suffer from a trauma created over 70 years ago during the darkest period of World War II.
