Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror thriller Happy Death Day directed by Christopher Landon and starring Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken and Laura Clifton. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander, Colossal). Also opening wide is the action thriller The Foreigner directed by Martin Campbell and starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. Cliff Martinez (Drive, Solaris, Traffic, Contagion, The Knick, Sex, Lies and Videotapes) has composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. The soundtrack will be released on October 13, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on 
Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for Simon Curtis’ biographical drama Goodbye Christopher Robin starring Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie, Will Tilston, Kelly Macdonald, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Alex Lawther. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Carter Burwell (Carol, Fargo, Twilight, In Bruges). The soundtrack will be released on October 13, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on 
Carter Burwell is scoring the upcoming biographical drama Goodbye Christopher Robin. The film is directed by Simon Curtis (My Week with Marilyn, Woman in Gold) and stars Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie, Will Tilston, Kelly Macdonald, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Alex Lawther. The movie revolves around the relationship between Winnie the Pooh creator A.A. Milne and his son Robin, who initially had a difficult relationship with his father, and served as the inspiration for the character of Christopher Robin. Frank Cottrell (The Railway Man, Millions) and Simon Vaughan (Watership Down, War & Peace) wrote the screenplay.
