Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror thriller Happy Death Day directed by Christopher Landon and starring Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken and Laura Clifton. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander, Colossal). Also opening wide is the action thriller The Foreigner directed by Martin Campbell and starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. Cliff Martinez (Drive, Solaris, Traffic, Contagion, The Knick, Sex, Lies and Videotapes) has composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Marshall have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Marcus Miller (Boomerang, Everybody Hates Chris, Two Can Play That Game). Also included is the original song Stand Up for Something by Andra Day feat. Common (co-written by Diane Warren), which is already available as a digital single, as well as another track by Day. The soundtrack will be released tomorrow, September 29, by Warner Bros. Records and will be available to download on
