Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror thriller Happy Death Day directed by Christopher Landon and starring Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken and Laura Clifton. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander, Colossal). Also opening wide is the action thriller The Foreigner directed by Martin Campbell and starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. Cliff Martinez (Drive, Solaris, Traffic, Contagion, The Knick, Sex, Lies and Videotapes) has composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
