Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for the period drama Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner John Lunn (The Last Kingdom, The White Queen, Jamestown, Belgravia, The White Princess) who has previously scored all episodes of the Downton Abbey TV series, as as well as 2019’s first feature and the 2022 sequel Downton Abbey: A New Era. The movie is based on Garth Stein’s best-selling novel of the same title and centers on a family dog (voiced by Kevin Costner) who evaluates his life through the lessons learned by his human owner, a professional race-car driver. Mark Bomback (Dawn for/Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Wolverine) wrote the screenplay.

The movie revolves around the relationship between Winnie the Pooh creator A.A. Milne and his son Robin, who initially had a difficult relationship with his father, and served as the inspiration for the character of Christopher Robin.
