La Cupula Music has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish drama Alive (Viva). The album features the film’s original music composed by Clara Aguilar (aka CLARAGUILAR) (Creatura, Graduation Trip: Mallorca, Suro). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Alive is co-written and directed by Aina Clotet and stars Clotet herself, Naby Dakhli, Marc Soler, Willy Toledo and Lloll Bertrán. The movie follows a 40-year-old woman who – after coming face to face with death – is consumed by an urgent need to feel alive and dives into passionate relationships with two very different men whose opposing natures reflect her own inner conflict. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Critics’ Week and was released in Spanish theaters this past June. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
