Sony Classical will release the first soundtrack album for the hit ITV/PBS period drama Mr. Selfridge. The album features selections of the original music from all four seasons of the show composed by Charlie Mole (An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest, Dorian Gray, Dad’s Army). The soundtrack will be released on February 26, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Mr. Selfridge is created by Andrew Davies and stars Jeremy Piven, Amanda Abbington, Gregory Fitoussi, Tom Goodman-Hill, Trystan Gravelle, Katherine Kelly, Aisling Loftus, Aidan McArdle and Frances O’Connor. The series is set in the early 1900s and centers on Harry Selfridge who arrives in London intent on building the world’s largest department store in the capital’s Oxford Street. The full details of the soundtrack album for the comic book movie Deadpool have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL (Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, 300: Rise of an Empire, Black Mass). Steven Price has signed on to score the upcoming comic book movie Suicide Squad. The film is written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, screenwriter of Training Day) and starsJared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach and Viola Davis. The movie is based on the DC Comics of the same title and centers on a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.
