Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie romantic comedy Tumbledown. The album features a selection of original songs by Seattle-based singer/songwriter Damien Jurado. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Daniel Hart (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Comet). The soundtrack will be released on February 12, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Tumbledown is directed by Sean Mewshaw and stars Jason Sudeikis, Rebecca Hall, Dianna Agron and Joe Manganiello. Alex Heffes has been hired to score the upcoming drama Queen of Katwe. The film is directed by Mira Nair (Vanity Fair, The Namesake, Amelia, Monsoon Wedding) and stars Lupita Nyong’o and David Oyelowo. The movie is based on Tim Crothers’ 2011 ESPN The Magazine article and book The Queen of Katwe: A Story of Life, Chess, and One Extraordinary Girl’s Dream of Becoming a Grandmaster and tells the story of Ugandan chess prodigy Phiona Mutes who became a Woman Candidate Master after her performance at the World Chess Olympiad. Atlantic Records will release a soundtrack album for the HBO original series Vinyl. The album features selections of the songs from the first season of the show by artists including Ty Taylor, David Johansen, Kaleo, Otis Reeding, Ruth Brown, Foghat, Soda Machine, Dee Dee Warwick & more. Also included is the series’ title song Sugar Daddy by Sturgill Simpson. The soundtrack will be released on February 12, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Vinyl is created by Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire), executive produced by Martin Scorsese and stars Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Juno Temple, Ato Essandoh, P. J. Byrne, J. C. The show’s original music is composed by ESKMO aka Brenden Angelides. The film marks the directorial debut of producer Aaron Kaufman (Machete Kills, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) and stars Pierce Brosnan, Ashley Greene, Alexis Knapp, Justin Chatwin, Danny Masterson, Bar Paly, Alexis Knapp, Chris Geere and Nick Thune. The movie follows a group of young friends who experiment with a new designer drug that perilously diminishes one’s ability to control destructive urges. ‘Monster Hunt’ Soundtrack Details

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Chinese 3D fantasy adventure Monster Hunt. The album features the film’s original music composed by Leon Ko (The Warlords). The soundtrack will be released in the U.S. on January 22, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The album is already available in several international markets. Monster Hunt is directed by Raman Hui and stars Bai Baihe, Jing Boran, Jiang Wu and Elaine Jin. The movie follows a baby monster king Wuba who is adopted by humans played by Jing Boran and Bai Baihe. Three new movies are opening nationwide this holiday weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action comedy Ride Along 2 directed by Tim Story and starring Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, Ken Jeong, Benjamin Bratt, Olivia Munn, Bruce McGill, Tika Sumpter and Sherri Shepherd. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Agent Carter, Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief, Hop) who collaborate with such musicians as drummer Sheila E. and trumpeter Arturo Sandoval on the project. Also opening wide is the action drama 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of the Benghazi directed by Michael Bay and starring John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber, Domicnic Fumusa, Max Martini, James Badge Dale, Toby Stephens, Matt Letscher and David Denman. Lorne Balfe (Terminatory Genisys, Home, Penguins of Madagascar) has composed the film’s original music. Hans Zimmer serves as the executive music producer.
