Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It-Ralph, Puss in Boots) who previously scored the studio’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. ‘Underground’ Theme Song ‘Heaven’s Door’ by Alice Smith to Be Released

Madison Gate Records will release the main titles song from the WGN America original series Underground. The track, entitled Heaven’s Door is performed by Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Alice Smith. The song will be released digitally on March 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Underground is created by Misha Green & Joe Pokaski and stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Aldis Hodge, Christopher Meloni, Jessica de Gouw, Marc Blucas, Alano Miller, Adina Porter, Mykelti Williamson, Amirah Vann, Reed Diamond and Johnny Ray Gill. Four new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane directed by Dan Trachtenberg and starring John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). Sparks & Shadows Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Check out our previous article for the full album details. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Turkish horror thriller Baskin. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ulas Pakkan. Simon Franglen is currently recording his music for the upcoming The Magnificent Seven remake. The score is based on themes that late composer James Horner wrote before he passed away last summer. The movie is directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, King Arthur) and stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun, Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Martin Sansmeier, Haley Bennett and Peter Sarsgaard. The film is based on the 1960 classic western of the same title, which was itself based on Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai and follows seven gun men in the old west who gradually come together to help a poor village against savage thieves. David Buckley has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama BrainDead. The show is created by Robert & Michelle King and stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aaron Tveit, Danny Pino, Nikki M. The series follows a fresh-faced Hill staffer whose first job in D.C. leads her to discover two things: The government has stopped working, and alien spawn have come to Earth and eaten the brains of a growing number of congressmen and Hill staffers.
