The album features the film’s original music composed by Evgueni & Sacha Galperine (The Family, The Past, Madame Bovary). Also included is the song Three Cool Cats by The Coasters. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 29, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Nine Lives is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black, Get Shorty) and stars Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, Malina Weissman, Cheryl Hines, Christopher Walken and Robbie Amell. Cliff Martinez has signed on to score James Mangold’s currently untitled Wolverine sequel. The film stars Hugh Jackman in the title role and will mark his final appearance as the character. Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Eriq La Salle and Elise Neal are co-starring. No plot details have been announced yet. David James Kelly has written the screenplay. BMI Continues to Support Sundance Institute’s Film Music Program

Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) will continue its support for Sundance Institute’s Film Music Program, which collaborates with Skywalker Sound to host the Sundance Institute Music and Sound Design Labs at Skywalker Sound. The first 2016 session of the lab begins July 7 at Skywalker Ranch and provides an opportunity for composers and directors to explore the collaborative process of writing music for feature film and is a joint venture of the Institute’s Film Music Program and Feature Film Program. The second session of the Lab begins on July 22 and will focus on composing for documentaries and is a joint venture of the Film Music Program and Documentary Film Program.
