Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the indie thriller Transpecos. The album features the film’s original music composed by The National’s Aaron Dessner and Bryce Dessner (The Revenant). Also included is the end credits song Afraid of Everyone by The National. The soundtrack is set to be released on September 9, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The track list will be added to this article soon. Transpecos is co-written and directed by Greg Kwedar and stars Johnny Simmons, Gabriel Luna and Clifton Collins, Jr. The movie follows three border patrol agents who encounter a Mexican drug cartel following the deadly aftermath of a vehicle inspection gone wrong. Jake Monaco is currently recording his score for the upcoming action comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses. The film is directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad, Paul, Adventureland) and stars Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot. The movie follows an ordinary suburban couple who discover that their impossibly gorgeous and ultra-sophisticated new neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. “Jones”, are covert operatives. Michael LeSieur (You, Me and Dupree, The Maiden Heist) has written the screenplay. Laurie Macdonald & Walter F. Parkes (Men in Black, Catch Me if You Can, Flight, The Ring) are producing the project. Jeff Cardoni has been tapped to score the upcoming ABC comedy Speechless. The show is created by Joey Silveri (Friends, Joey) and stars Minnie Driver, John Ross Bowie, Mason Cook, Micah Fowler, Kyla Kennedy and Cedric Yarbrough. The series centers on a family with a special-needs child that is good with dealing with the challenges it faces and even better at creating new ones. Silveri is also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television and ABC Studios production with Jake Kasdan (Bad Teacher, New Girl, Orange County) and Melvin Mar (Fresh Off the Boat). Stephen Warbeck has recently composed the music for the upcoming British drama The Journey. The film is directed by Nick Hamm (The Hole, Godsend) and stars Timothy Spall, Colm Meaney, John Hurt, Toby Stephens and Freddie Highmore. The movie centers on the events preceding the historic 2006 St. Andrews Agreement, which brought peace to Northern Ireland after years of violent strife between Unionist and Republican factions. Colin Bateman (Divorcing Jack, Murphy’s Law) has written the screenplay. Hamm is also producing the project with Piers Tempest (Robot Overlords, Grabbers), Mark Huffam (The Martian, Johnny English), Matt Jackson (End of Watch, Snitch) and Stuart Ford. A soundtrack album will be released for the assassination thriller The Chosen (El Eledigo). The album features the film’s original music composed by Arnau Bataller ([REC] 4: Apocalypse, A Perfect Day, Summer Camp). The soundtrack will be released physically on August 31, 2016. The Chosen is written and directed by Antonio Chavarrias and stars Alfonso Herrera, Hannah Murray, Henry Goodman, Julian Sands, Elvira Minguez, Alejandro Calva and Brontis Jodorowsky.. Christopher Cano and Chris Ridenhour who previously co-scored the second and third part in the series have composed the film’s original music. The soundtrack, which has a run time of 77 minutes, will be released on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Magnificent Seven starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee and Peter Sarsgaard is based on the 1960 classic western of the same name and follows seven gun men in the old west who gradually come together to help a poor village against savage thieves. The album features the film’s original music composed by Graham Reynolds who has scored such Linklater-helmed movies as Bernie, Before Midnight and A Scanner Darkly. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 5, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Richard Linklater: Dream Is Destiny is directed by Louis Black & Karen Bernstein and traces Linklater’s life and work – from Slacker to his latest comedy Everybody Wants Some!! – shedding light on how a creative visionary carved out a one-of-a-kind career unbeholden to the Hollywood machine.
