The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Chris Bacon (Source Code, Gnomeo & Juliet, Alpha and Omega, Smash). Trevor Morris to Score ‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2

Trevor Morris is the new composer of the Freeform original series Shadowhunters. The show is based on the book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare and stars Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Emeraude Toubia, Matthew Daddario, Isaiah Mustafa, David Castro and Harry Shum Jr. Morris is scoring the drama’s second season and follows Ben Decter who composed the music for the first season, which premiered earlier this year. Patrick Doyle confirmed in a recent interview with BBC Radio 3 that is reteaming with Kenneth Branagh on the upcoming new film adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express. The film stars Branagh as detective Hercule Poirot, alongside Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Judi Dench, Lucy Boynton, Tom Bateman, Derek Jacobi, Michael Peņa and Leslie Odom Jr. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Agatha Christie and follows Poirot as he investigates the murder of a wealthy American traveling on a train. Three new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the dramatic thriller The Girl on the Train directed by Tate Taylor and starring Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Edgar Ramirez, Lisa Kudrow and Laura Prepon. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, Alice in Wonderland, Fifty Shades of Grey). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
