Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the romantic comedy drama Paris Can Wait. The album features the film’s original music composed by Laura Karpman (Underground, Black Nativity, Taken mini-series). Also included are two re-imaginings of classic French songs – Je te veux and Que reste-t-il de nos amours – sung by international star vocalist Ute Lemper. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. Paris Can Wait is written and directed by Eleanor Coppola and stars Diane Lane, Arnaud Viard and Alec Baldwin. The movie follows a Hollywood producer’s wife who reluctantly takes a trip through France, , which reawakens her sense of self and her joie de vivre.

Two movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure King Arthur: Legend of the Sword directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law and Eric Bana. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Counselor, Gold). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the action comedy Snatched directed by Jonathan Levine, produced by Paul Feig and starring Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Joan Cusack, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes and Christopher Meloni. Theodore Shapiro (Ghostbusters, Spy, The Devil Wears Prada) and Chris Bacon (Bates Motel, Source Code) have composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. Laura Karpman has recently composed the music for the upcoming romantic comedy Paris Can Wait. The film is written and directed by Eleanor Coppola and stars Diane Lane, Arnaud Viar and Alec Baldwin. The movie follows a Hollywood producer’s wife who reluctantly takes a trip through France which reawakens her senses and lust for life. Fred Roos (St. Vincent, The Outsiders, Rumble Fish, The Black Stallion) is producing the American Zoetrope, Lifetime Films and A+E Studios production with Coppola and Michael Zakin (Life After Beth).
