Death Waltz Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Blackcoat’s Daughter. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elvis Perkins. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. Mondo will release a vinyl version next month. The Blackcoat’s Daughter is directed by Osgood Perkins and stars Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Boynton, Lauren Holly and James Remar. Redrocca will release the scores for two shorts by late director Dan Ireland, Hate from a Distance and A Most Peculiar Man. The music for both films is composed by Tom Howe (Charming) and Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, Kingdom of Heaven) who also worked with the filmmaker on the features The Whole Wide World, Jolene and Passionada.
