WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for Zach Braff’s crime comedy Going in Style. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, The Spectacular Now, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer) who previously scored Braff’s Wish I Was Here. Lorne Balfe has composed original music for the upcoming film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. He is credited as the film’s composer alongside Clint Mansell who was previously announced as the movie’s composer. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the film’s score later this month. The sci-fi adventure is directed by Rupert Sanders and stars Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt. Sam Phillips and Eric Gorfain have scored the Amazon Studios pilot The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The show is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle. The drama is set in 1958 Manhattan tells the story of Miriam “Midge” Maisel whose perfect life suddenly takes an unexpected turn. Sherman-Palladino has also directed the pilot and is executive producing the project with Daniel Palladino. Sony Classical will release the first score album for the AMC hit series Better Call Saul. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, The Blacklist, The Disaster Artist, Preacher, Flesh and Bone).
