Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein will be performing their score from the Netflix hit series Stranger Things at a live concert performance on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. A soundtrack will be released for the horror thriller The Gracefield Incident. The album features the film’s original music composed by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Jinn). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 20, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Gracefield Incident is written and directed by Mathieu Ratthe who also stars in the movie alongside Kimberly Laferriere, Victor Andres Turgeon-Trelles, Juliette Gosselin, Alexandre Nachi and Laurence Dauphinais. The movie revolves around a video game editor who embeds an iPhone camera into his prosthetic eye to secretly record and document a weekend with friends in a luxurious mountain top cabin. Adam Berry is composing the music for the upcoming Disney XD series Big Hero 6. The show is based on the 2014 feature (scored by Henry Jackman) and features the voices of Maya Rudolph, Jamie Chung, Stan Lee, Scott Adsit, Alan Tudyk, Ryan Potter, Genesis Rodriguez and David Shaughnessy who will reprise their characters from the movie. ‘Endless Poetry’ Soundtrack Released

ABKCO Records has released a soundtrack album for Alejandro Jodorowsky’s autobiographical drama Endless Poetry (Poesia sin fin). The album features the film’s original music composed and performed by Alejandro’s son Adan Jodorowsky (aka Adanowsky), who also stars in the film, portraying his own father as a young man. Also included are four songs by multi-instrumentalist composer/arranger Jon Handelsman. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Endless Poetry premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in New York and Los Angeles on July 14 and will expand to more markets the following week. Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series The Defiant Ones directed by Allen Hughes. The 4-parter tells the stories of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, their improbable partnership and their leading roles in a series of transformative events in contemporary culture and features interview with both men, as well as Bono, Trent Reznor, David Geffen, Eminem, Nas, Stevie Nicks, Ice Cube, Gwen Stefani,. The show’s original music is composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross and Claudia Sarne. Tyler Bates to Score ‘The Exorcist’ Season 2

Writer/producer Jeremy Slater revealed on Twitter that Tyler Bates will be scoring the second season of the Fox drama The Exorcist. He is taking over for composer Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) who scored the show’s first season. The series is developed by Slater based on William Peter Blatty’s novel of the same title, which inspired William Friedkin’s 1973 classic stars Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels and Kurt Egyiawa. John Williams is set to score Steven Spielberg’s upcoming drama The Papers. The film stars Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk, Bradley Whitford, Alison Brie, Matthew Rhys, Carrie Coon, Jesse Plemons, David Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Tracy Letts, Michael Stuhlbarg and Zach Woods. The movie revolves around the 1971 scandal after the decision of The Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and publisher Katharine Graham to publish The Pentagon Papers. Liz Hannah wrote the screenplay. Alan Silvestri has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming film adaptation of Ready Player One. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Tye Sheridan, Oliva Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Win Morisaki, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg and T.J Miller. The movie is based on the 2011 novel by Ernest Cline and follows a group of teenagers on a quest for riches in a futuristic virtual world.
