Brazilian singer/songwriter Rodrigo Amarante has recently composed the music for the upcoming thriller 7 Days in Entebbe. The film is directed by Jose Padilha (Enemy Squad, RoboCop) and stars Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl, Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi and Denis Ménochet. The movie is inspired by the true events of the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris Gregory Burke (’71) wrote the screenplay. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, The Theory of Everything, Baby Driver, Les Miserables) are producing the Working Title Films production with Kate Solomon (The Program), Michelle Wright and Ron Halpern (The Gunman). Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Just Getting Started. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Talladega Nights, Anchorman, The Newsroom, Hollywood Homicide). Also included are songs performed by Susan Werner and Johnny Mathis (who also appears in the movie). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 8 and will be available to download on Amazon. Rob Lane has been hired to score the upcoming Sky drama A Discovery of Witches. The show starring Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode is based on Deborah Harkness’ historical fantasy novel of the same title and revolves around a young scholar at Oxford and a descendant of the Salem witches, who accidentally unlocks an enchanted manuscript and enters a forbidden romance with a charming 1,500-year-old vampire. Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for Ridley Scott’s dramatic thriller All the Money in the World.
