Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Belgian/French/Dutch war drama Coward. The album features the film’s original score composed by Valentin Hadjadj (Close, Girl, April and the Extraordinary World, A Bigger World, Families Like Ours, Under the Stars of Paris, Rialto). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Coward is co-written and directed by Lukas Dhont and stars Emmanuel Macchia, Valentin Campagne, Willem de Schryver, Mistral Guidotti, Boris Bouchat, Anaëlle Fournier, Jonas Wertz and Jef Jacobs. The movie, which has been selected as Belgium’s entry in the International Feature category for next year’s Academy Awards, follows two World War I soldiers as they find a fragile sanctuary of love and art amid the shadows of the Belgian trenches.

Premiering on Wednesday, June 11, is the Netflix original documentary Titan: The OceanGate Disaster directed by Mark Monroe about OceanGate’s Titan tourist submersible that imploded in 2023 on a deep-sea dive to the Titanic. Andrew Skeet (MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action, The Body Next Door) & Nathan Klein (Ludwig, The Beast Within, 101 Dalmatian Street) have composed the film’s original music. The movie, which examines CEO Stockton Rush’s quest to become the next billionaire innovator and the doomed underwater endeavor that called into question the price of ambition in the depths of the ocean, just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this week and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Valentin Hadjadj to Score Jérémy Comte’s ‘Paradise’
Valentin Hadjadj (Close, Girl, A Bigger World, April and the Extraordinary World, Families Like Ours, Under the Stars of Paris, Rialto) has been hired to score the upcoming Canadian/French drama Paradise. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Jérémy Comte (who previously helmed the Academy Award-nominated 2018 short Fauve) and stars Joey Boivin-Desmeules and Daniel Atsu Hukporti. The movie revolves around two young men on different sides of the globe – one in Canada and the other in Africa – who connect through their search for the truth about their absent fathers.

The movie written by Mark O’Halloran based on his stage play Trade follows a man in his mid-40s who has a comfortable life in Dublin when – after the death of his father – his emotional life cracks open, and he finds himself drawn to a 19-year-old who dabbles in prostitution.

Under the Stars of Paris is directed by Claus Drexel and stars Catherine Frot and Mahamadou Yaffa. The movie tells the story of a homeless woman who tries to help a lost 8-year-old boy from Burkina Faso to find his mother on the streets of Paris.

A Bigger World is co-written directed by Fabienne Berthaud and stars Cécile de France, Narantsetseg Dash, Tserendarizav Dashnyam, Ludivine Sagnier and Arieh Worthalter. The movie is based onthe book Mon initiation chez les Chamanes by Corine Sombrun and follows a woman who discovers she has shamanistic abilities during a trip to Mongolia.
