Craft Recordings & Varèse Sarabande have announced Reel Cult, a new soundtrack reissue series for B-movie soundtrack aficionados. Among the first two titles is a new (and first in over 50 years) vinyl edition for the 1977 thriller Orca directed by Michael Anderson and starring Richard Harris, Charlotte Rampling, Will Sampson, Bo Derek & Robert Carradine featuring music composed by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Hateful Eight, The Untouchables). The album, which is pressed on Blood In The Water-colored vinyl, presented in a tip-on jacket and includes a fold-out poster, will be released on Record Store Day 2024 and will be available at participating independent music retailers on April 20.
