WaterTower Music has released the first two tracks from the soundtrack for Denis Villneueve’s Dune: Part Two. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms are A Time of Quiet Between the Storms / Harvester Attack written by the film’s composer Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rain Man) who received his second Academy Award for the first Dune movie. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the shark thriller No Way Up. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andy Gray (Hunters, Steal, Count Me In, Timecop: The Berlin Decision). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. No Way Up is directed by Claudio Fäh and stars Phyllis Logan, Colm Meaney, Sophie McIntosh, Jeremias Amoore, Will Attenborough, Manuel Pacific and Grace Nettle. Composer Gary Yershon (Brighton, Trial and Retribution, 23 Walks) is reteaming with director Mike Leigh on the upcoming British drama Hard Truths. The film is written and directed by Leigh (Secrets & Lies, Vera Drake, Naked) and stars Marianne Jean-Baptiste. No plot details have been announced yet, but the movie is being described as a “tough but compassionate intimate study of family life.” Georgina Lowe is producing the Thin Man Films and The Mediapro production. Yershon has previously collaborated with Leigh on the director’s previous four features, Happy-Go-Lucky, Another Year, Mr. Turner (which earned him his first Academy Award nomination) and Peterloo.
