Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish fantasy horror movie Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil. The album features the film’s original music composed by Pascal Gaigne (The Olive Tree, Flowers, Stones). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. A CD version is also set to be released within the next couple of weeks. Alan Menken has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Howard. The film is directed by Don Hahn (Waking Sleeping Beauty) who produced numerous Disney productions, including Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and The Nightmare Before Christmas. The movie centers on the legendary lyricist Howard Ashman who penned the lyrics and collaborated with Menken on Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast before he passed away at the height of the AIDS crisis in 1991. ‘Lowlife’ Soundtrack Announced

Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the indie horror comedy Lowlife. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kreng (aka Pepijn Caudron) (Cooties, Camino, The Party’s Just Beginning). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 6, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lowlife is directed by Ryan Prows and stars Jon Oswald, Nicki Micheaux, Mark Burnham and Ricardo Adam Zarate. ‘White Fang’ Soundtrack Released

Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature White Fang. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Bruno Coulais (Coraline, The Chorus, The Crimson Rivers, Winged Migration) and performed by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gast Waltzing. Also included is the original song You Will Find a Home by Bonnie “Prince” Billy (aka Will Oldham). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. A CD version is set to come out next month. White Fang is directed by Alexandre Espigares and features the voices of Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Eddie Spears and Paul Giamatti. Benjamin Wynn (aka Deru) has announced that he has composed the score for the upcoming YouTube Red original series Impulse. The show is based on the third novel in the Jumper series by Steven Gould and stars Maddie Hasson, Missi Pyle, Sarah Desjardins, Enuka Okuma, Craig Arnold and David James Elliott. The drama tells the story of a rebellious 16-year-old girl who has always felt different from her peers and has longed to escape from her seemingly quaint small town and soon discovers she has the extraordinary ability to teleport. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Nathan Barr (True Blood, Cabin Fever, Hostel, Hemlock Grove, Sneaky Pete, The Son). Also included is the song It Must Be Done by Pete Townshend & Barr, which has previously been released as a digital single in 2014. The show is created by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men) and stars Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Nancy Travis, Sarah Baker, Susan Sullivan, Emily Osment, Graham Rogers, Ashleigh LaThrop, Jenna Lyng Adams, Melissa Tang and Casey Brown. The comedy revolves around an actor who years ago had a brief fling with success and is now a revered Hollywood acting coach. Lorre and Douglas are also executive producing the Warner Bros. My Friend Dahmer is directed by Marc Meyers and stars Ross Lynch, Anne Heche, Alex Wolff, Dallas Roberts and Vincent Kartheiser. Alan Silvestri is set to reteam with Robert Zemeckis on the upcoming fantasy drama The Women of Marwen. The film starring Steve Carell, Leslie Mann, Janelle Monae, Eiza Gonzalez, Diane Kruger, Falk Hentschel and Gwendoline Christie is based on Jeff Malmberg’s 2010 documentary Marwencol about a man who builds a miniature WWII-era village to help him get over a terrible life event. Zemeckis has also co-written the screenplay with Caroline Thompson (Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas) and is producing the ImageMovers production with Jack Rapke & Steve Starkey (Cast Away, What Lies Beneath) and Cherylanne Martin. Ruth Barrett is composing the music for the upcoming BBC drama Bodyguard. The show is created by Jed Mercurio (Line of Duty) and stars Richard Madden, Keeley Hawes, Gina McKee, Sophie Rundle, Vincent Franklin and Rowena King. The 6-part thriller tells the story of a heroic but volatile war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch (RaSP) of London’s Metropolitan Police Service.
