Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the horror thriller A Quiet Place directed by John Krasinski and starring Krasinski himself, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, Scream, World War Z, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details.
Also opening wide is the comedy Blockers directed by Kay Cannon and starring Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Indira Viswanathan and Gideon Adlan. Mateo Messina (Juno, Casual, Superstore, Butter, Barely Lethal) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been announced.
