Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the horror thriller A Quiet Place directed by John Krasinski and starring Krasinski himself, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, Scream, World War Z, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine). Also opening wide is the comedy Blockers directed by Kay Cannon and starring Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Indira Viswanathan and Gideon Adlan. Mateo Messina (Juno, Casual, Superstore, Butter, Barely Lethal) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been announced. ‘Life of the Party’ Soundtrack Details

Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Life of the Party. The album features the film’s original score composed by Fil Eisler (Empire, Revenge, How to Be Single, CHiPs, Proud Mary), as well as songs by Meghan Trainor, Blind Scuba Divers, Chick Norris, Cyndi Lauper, The Sugarhill Gang and Five Knives. ‘Hereditary’ Soundtrack Announced

The album features the film’s original music composed by Colin Stetson (Blue Caprice, Outlaws and Angels, Lavender). The soundtrack will be released physically and digitally on June 8, 2018. SATV will release a soundtrack album for the Sky Atlantic series Save Me. The album features the original music from the show’s first season composed by Academy Award nominee Dustin O’Halloran (Lion, Transparent, Like Crazy) and Bryan Senti (Experimenter, Lowriders). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 18, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Save Me is created by Lennie James, directed by Nick Murphy and stars James himself, alongside Suranne Jones, Stephen Graham, Jason Flemyng, Susan Lynch, Kerry Godliman, Nadine Marshall and Barry Ward. The drama is set on a southeast London housing estate and follows a man who is falsely accused of a terrible crime an determines to clear his name and find the real perpetrator. Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama On Chesil Beach. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Jones (Shadow of the Vampire, Lady Macbeth, Max) featuring solo violin by Esther Yoo. Also included are the classical pieces from the movie by Beethoven, Haydn, Elgar and Mozart. The soundtrack will be released on May 18, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. On Chesil Beach is directed by Dominic Cooke and stars Saoirse Ronan, Billy Howle, Anne-Marie Duff, Adrian Scarborough, Emily Watson and Samuel West. The movie based on Ian McEwan’s bestseller centers on a young couple of drastically different backgrounds in the summer of 1962 and follows the pair through their idyllic courtship. The film is directed by Ariel Vromen (The Iceman, Criminal) and stars Marwan Kenzari, Toby Kebbell, Sasson Gabai, Waleed Zuaiter, Hannah Ware, Mickey Leon, Ori Pfeffer and Maisa Abd Elhadi. The spy thriller is based on Uri Bar-Joseph’s bestselling novel The Angel: The Egyptian Spy Who Saved Israel and tells the true story of high-ranking Egyptian official Ashraf Marwan, who became a spy for Israel despite being the son-in-law of former Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser and close adviser of his successor, Anwar Sadat.
