Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC/PBS Masterpiece series Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed and conducted by Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Dickensian, Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Vampire Killers, Father Brown, Haunted, Flood) and performed by The Locrian Ensemble of London. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically (on CD) on December 13. The label has previously released an album featuring Wiseman’s score from the original 2015 Wolf Hall series. Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light is adapted for television by Peter Straughan and stars Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis, Jonathan Pryce, Kate Phillips, Harriet Walter, Lilit Lesser, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Timothy Spall, Harry Melling, Alex Jennings and Charlie Rowe. The 6-parter directed by Peter Kosminsky is based on the final novel in Hilary Mantel’s trilogy and tells the continuing story, post the execution of Anne Boleyn, of Thomas Cromwell and his complex relationship with Henry VIII. ‘Arcane: League of Legends’ Season 2 (Vol. 1) Score Album Released

Riot Games has released the first score album for the second season of the Netflix animated series Arcane. The album features the original score from Act I of Season 2 composed by Alexander Temple, Alex Seaver, as well as Andrew Kierszenbaum. Hollywood Records has released the original song A Friend Like Me from the Hulu original movie Mr. Crocket. The track written by the film’s composer Alex Winkler (Molli and Max in the Future, The Girl Who Left Home), featuring lyrics by director Brandon Espy and performed by actor Elvis Nolasco (who stars in the title role) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
