Harry Escott (Shame, Roadkill, Hard Candy, Joan, Welcome to the Punch, The English Game, The Wedding Guest, The Face of an Angel) is the composer of the new ITV drama Gone. The show is created by George Kay (Lupin, Hijack) inspired by Julie Mackay’s & Robert Murph’s book To Hunt a Killer and stars David Morrissey, Eve Myles, Jennifer Macbeth, Nicholas Nunn, Arthur Hughes, Elliot Cowan, Rupert Evans, Billy Barratt, Oscar Batterham, Jodie McNee and Clare Higgins. The 6-part psychological drama is set against the backdrop of a prestigious private Bristol school and follows the local Headmaster who becomes the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance.

Premiering tomorrow, February 25 is the NBC drama The Enemy Within created by Ken Woodruff and starring Jennifer Carpenter, Morris Chestnut, Raza Jaffrey, Kelli Garner, Cassandra Freeman and Noah Mills. The show’s original music is composed by Bobby Krlic (aka The Haxan Cloak) (Seven Seconds, Triple 9, Shooter). Four new movies are opening in wide release this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the war movie Act of Valor directed by Scott Waugh & Mike “Mouse” McCoy about a group of active-duty Navy SEALs that is sent across the globe as they track the terrorist ring to the U.S.-Mexico border. Relativity Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the film’s country songs by artists including Keith Urban, Sugarland and Lady Antebellum. Also opening wide is the thriller Gone directed by Heitor Dhalia and starring Amanda Seyfried, Daniel Dunjata, Jennifer Carpenter, Sebastian Stan and Wes Bentley. The film’s score is written by David Buckley (The Town, Forbidden Kingdom). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally earlier this week and the CD version is set to come out next month. ‘Gone’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack release for the upcoming thriller Gone. The album includes the original score by composer David Buckley (The Town, Forbidden Kingdom). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 21, 2012 and physically on March 20. The CD version is now available for pre-order on Amazon. David Buckley Scoring ‘Gone’
David Buckley is scoring the upcoming thriller Gone. The movie stars Amanda Seyfried as a young woman who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. Daniel Dunjata, Jennifer Carpenter, Sebastian Stan and Wes Bentley are co-starring. Heitor Dhalia is directing from a script by Allison Burnett (Untraceable, Autumn in New York). Tom Rosenberg & Gary Lucchesi (Million Dollar Baby, Underworld) and Sidney Kimmel (Adventureland, The Lincoln Lawyer) are producing the Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment production.
