EuropaCorp will release the official soundtrack album for Luc Besson’s action thriller Anna. The album features the film’s original music composed by Eric Serra (Leon: The Professional, The Fifth Element, GoldenEye, La Femme Nikita, Lucy, The Big Blue). Also included is Beauty Freak’s song My Beauty. The soundtrack will be released overseas digitally next Wednesday, July 10 and physically a few days later. A domestic release is set for July 19 (click here to download the album). Anna is written and directed by Besson and stars Sasha Luss, Luke Evans, Cillian Murphy and Helen Mirren. Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Discovery. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, The Act, Mile 22, Counterpart). Also included are three tracks from Russo’s score for Short Treks. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. ‘Fighting with My Family’ Score Album to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a score album for the comedy drama Fighting with My Family. The album features the film’s original music composed by Vik Sharma (Hello Ladies) who collaborated with Blur guitarist Graham Coxon on his score. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 5 and will be available to download here. Universal-Island Records has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie, as well as selections of Sharma’s score. Kylie Minogue and the English indie rock band The Vaccines have collaborated on an original song for Aardman’s upcoming animated feature A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. The song, entitled Lazy, is also featured in the film’s latest trailer, which can be checked out after the jump. The movie directed by Will Becher & Richard Phelan follows Shaun and his flock after discovering a little alien with amazing powers who is stranded at the Mossy Bottom Farm, as they try and protect her from a sinister organization and attempt to send her home before an alien invasion. Orange Mountain Music will release a soundtrack album for the period action movie Samurai Marathon. The album features the film’s music composed by Academy Award nominee Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Candyman, The Illusionist). The soundtrack is comprised of short excerpts of the composer’s music from Mishima, The Fog of War & Naqoyqatsi , movements from Symphonies 2, 3 and 8, Violin Concerto No. 1, as well as the operas Akhnaten and Satyagraha. The pieces were newly recorded for the project with the City of Prague Philharmonic under the baton of Richard Hein. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 19. The film is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love & Basketball, Beyond the Lights) and stars Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Marwan Kenzari, Matthias Schoenaerts, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling and Veronica Ngo. The action fantasy movie is based on the comic book series of the same title created by author Greg Rucka (who also wrote the screenplay) and illustrator Leandro Fernández and tells the story of a small covert group of immortal mercenaries who must fight to keep their team together when they discover the existence of a new immortal and their extraordinary abilities are exposed. Indiewire is reporting that composer Dan Romer is set to retam with director Dan Fukunaga (True Detective, Jane Eyre) on the next, currently untitled James Bond movie. Daniel Craig returns in the title role and is joined by Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright and Ana de Armas. The film follows Bond as he has left active service, when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are producing the project.
