Open Frames has released a soundtrack album for the paranormal thriller Nightworld. The album features the film’s original score composed by Luc Suarez (The Nun). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Nightworld is directed by Patricio Valladares (Hidden In The Woods, Downhill) and stars Robert Englund, Jason London and Gianni Capaldi. The movie follows a former LAPD officer who takes a job as head of security at an old apartment building and begins to experience bizarre and terrifying events. Premiering on Thursday, November 2, is the new CBS drama S.W.A.T. developed by Aaron Thomas, produced by Shawn Ryan and starring Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson and Peter Onorati. The show’s original music is composed by Robert Duncan (Castle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Unit, Timeless). Madison Gate Records has released a digital single featuring new version of the theme from the 70s series performed by Duncan. Premiering on Friday, November 3, is the mini-series Alias Grace created Sarah Polley and starring Sarah Gadon, Anna Paquin, Zachary Levi, Paul Gross, Edward Holcroft, Kerr Logan, Rebecca Liddiard and David Cronenberg. Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Storks, The Boondock Saints) & Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote) have composed the show’s original music. Lifetime’s ‘Flint’ to Feature Music by John Debney

John Debney has composed the music for the Lifetime original movie Flint. The film is directed by Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy, Double Jeopardy) and stars Betsy Brandt, Jill Scott, Marin Ireland and Queen Latifah. The drama is inspired by the Time Magazine cover story The Toxic Tap by Josh Sanburn and tells the true story of a woman who deals with the toxic water scandal in Flint, Michigan, and the effect it has on her family. Barbara Stepansky (Hurt) wrote the script. Craig Zadan & Neil Meron (Hairspray, Empire, Smash) are executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Latifah and journalists Katie Couric and Shakim Compere. Three new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror thriller Jigsaw directed by Peter & Michael Spierig and starring Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen and Josiah Black. Charlie Clouser (Wayward Pines, Resident Evil: Extinction) who previously scored all movies in the Saw series has composed the film’s original music. Also opening wide is the comedy drama Suburbicon co-writtten and directed by Clooney and starring Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Noah Jupe and Oscar Isaac. The film’s original music is composed and conducted by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows). ‘Trolls Holiday’ Soundtrack Released

RCA Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated holiday special Trolls Holiday. The album features the songs from the short performed by the project’s voice cast, including Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden, Ron Funches and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Also included a suite from the score compose by Jeff Morrow (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure). Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the natural history docu-series Blue Planet II. The album features the show’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception), Jacob Shea (Planet Earth II) and David Fleming (The Perfect Guy) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 29, 2017 (click here to download) and physically on December 1. Blue Planet II presented and narrated by David Attenborough, which is a sequel to the 2001 series Blue Planet, explores the underwater worlds, and was filmed over 4 years with 125 expeditions across 39 countries and 6000 hours of underwater filming. The series executive produced by David Fincher (who also directed multiple episodes) is set in the late 1970s and follows two FBI agents who expand criminal science by delving into the psychology of murder and getting uneasily close to all-too-real monsters. Atlantic Records will release the official soundtrack album for the movie musical The Greatest Showman. The album features the original songs from the movie composed by Academy Award winners Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (La La Land, Dear Evan Hansen) and performed by the movie’s cast.
