Manners McDade has released a soundtrack EP for the coming-of-age drama Retablo. The EP features the film’s original music composed by Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch, A Mighty Heart, The Face of an Angel). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Retablo is directed by Alvaro Delgado-Aparicio and stars Magaly Solier, Amiel Cayo andJunior Bejar Roca. The movie, which was the Peruvian entry for the Best International Feature Film at this year’s Academy Awards, follows a 14-year old boy who wants to become a master story-box maker to carry on with the family legacy, when he accidentally observes his father in a situation that shatters his whole world. The drama, which was released opened internationally over the last two years, will released in the U.S. on DVD on February 25.
