Locomotion Recordings & Geffen Records have released the cover version of Kiss’ I Was Made for Lovin’ You from the action comedy The Fall Guy. The track (originally written by Desmond Child, Vincent Poncia & Paul Stanley) produced by Dominic Lewis (who also composed the film’s score) & Chris Greatti and performed by YUNGBLUD is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song below. A full soundtrack album featuring Lewis’ original score from the movie is expected to be released next week by Back Lot Music. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic comedy drama Challengers directed by Luca Guadagnino and starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist. The film’s original music composed by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Watchmen, Soul, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Bones and All, Empire of Light, Mank). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as an original song today. Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1979 NBC miniseries Backstairs at the White House directed by Michael O’Herlihy, developed for television by Gwen Bagni & Paul Dubov and starring Leslie Uggams, Olivia Cole, Louis Gossett Jr., Cloris Leachman, Robert Hooks, Leslie Nielsen and Hari Rhodes. The album features the show’s original music composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Morton Stevens (Hawaii Five-O, Masada, Gunsmoke, Wheels, The Manians of America). Walt Disney Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Descendants: The Rise of Red. The album features the songs from the film performed by the movie’s cast, including seven new original tracks, two reprises, and a cover of So This Is Love from the animated classic Cinderella. Also included is a score suite written by the project’s composer Torin Borrowdale (Locke & Key, Searching, Five Days at Memorial). The soundtrack will be released on July 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
