District 6 Music has released a soundtrack album for the French documentary On the Edge (État limite). The album features the film’s original music composed by Gaël Rakotondrabe (The Wild One, PortoOther People’s Children). On the Edge is directed by Nicolas Peduzzi and centers on Jamal Abdel-Kader, the only psychiatrist in a 400-bed state hospital on the outskirts of Paris. The film will be directed by Christian De Vita and star Richard E. Grant and Brian Cox. The movie based on the book of the same title by David Edmonds &John Eidinow tells the story of the real-life encounter between Ludwig Wittgenstein and Karl Popper, two of the 20th century’s greatest philosophers, and explores their notorious dispute, known as the Cambridge Poker Incident. 142 Music has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean action crime comedy The Roundup: Punishment. The album features the film’s original music composed by Yoon Il-sang (Big Bet). Lionsgate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Acapulco. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Bo Boddie (Fresh Off the Boat, GLOW, Motion Detected, Lady of the Manor). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A separate album featuring the songs from Season 3 will also be coming out on the same day. The label has previously released a score album featuring Boddie’s music from Season 1 and soundtrack featuring both songs and score from Season 2. The film is based on Sophie Cousens’ novel of the same title and stars Lucien Laviscount, Sophie Cookson, Golda Rosheuvel, John Hannah, Monica Dolan and Mandip Gill. The movie follows a man and a woman who connect at a New Year’s Eve party and quickly realize they were born on New Year’s Day of the same year, in the same London hospital, one minute apart. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1989 family sci-fi comedy Honey, I Shrunk the Kids directed by Joe Johnston and starring Rick Moranis, Matt Frewer, Marcia Strassman, Kristine Sutherland, Jared Rushton and Thomas Brown. The album features the expanded original score from the Walt Disney Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Apollo 11, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Field of Dreams, Aliens), including previously unreleased tracks.
