Warner Classics will release a soundtrack album for Roman Polanski’s drama An Officer and a Spy (J’accuse). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) who previously scored the director’s last four features, The Ghost Writer, Carnage, Venus in Fur and Based on a True Story. Also included are two classical pieces by Gabriel Fauré. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Laurent Eyquem (Copperhead, Winnie Mandela, Nostalgia, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage) is set to score the upcoming action drama Finding Jack. The film directed by Anton Ernst & Tati Golykh is based on Gareth Crocker’s novel of the same title about the existence and abandonment of more than 10,000 military dogs at the end of the Vietnam War. Academy Award nominee Diane Warren has composed an original song for the project. James Dean will (through CGI technology) posthumously star in the film.
