Opening on VOD today is the documentary Slay the Dragon directed by Barak Goodman & Chris Durrance. The movie centers on a secretive, high-tech gerrymandering initiative launched 10 years ago and follows everyday people as they fight to make their votes matter. The film’s original music is composed by Gary Lionelli (O.J. Made in America, Chasing the Moon, Last Days in Vietnam). No word on a soundtrack release. Also opening on VOD today is the thriller The Other Lamb directed by Malgorzata Szumowska and starring Raffey Cassidy, Michiel Huisman and Denise Gough. Rafael Leloup (Inheritance) and Pawel Mykietyn (Elles, In the Name Of) have composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie, which follows a woman who begins to question the leader of a cult and the insular world she was born into in this haunting vision of a nightmarish awakening, premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and is being released by IFC Midnight.
