Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British/Irish series Miss Scarlet & The Duke created by Rachael New, directed by Declan O’Dwyer and starring Kate Phillips, Stuart Martin, Ansu Kabia, Andrew Gower and Kevin Doyle. The show’s original music is composed by Tomas Daniels. The 6-part drama, which centers on the first-ever female detective in Victorian London who joins forces with a Scotland Yard Inspector to solve crime mysteries, premiered in the UK last year on Alibi and is making its U.S. debut as part of PBS Masterpiece series. Premiering on Thursday, January 21, is the CW drama Walker created by Anna Fricke based on the 90s series Walker, Texas Ranger and starring Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, Molly Hagen, Coby Bell, Jeff Pierr and Mitch Pileggi. Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Pollock, Rome, Carnivale, Ugly Betty, Blackfish) is composing the show’s original music.
