Valley Entertainment has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Oliver Sacks: His Own Life. Verve Records has released the first track from the soundtrack of the third season of the Netflix original series Ozark. Ben’s Body (Acoustic Version) (from the season finale, All In) is written by series composers Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (The Gift, The Outsider, Boy Erased, Enemy) who received their first Emmy Award nomination this year for their score from the episode. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross have won their first Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special (Original Dramatic Score) for their score for the episode It’s Summer and We’re Running Out of Ice from the HBO original series Watchmen at today’s fourth night of the Creative Emmy Awards. Nathan Barr received his first Primetime Emmy Award in the Original Main Title Theme Music category for Ryan Murphy’s Netflix limited series Hollywood and Labrinth was honored with his first Emmy in the Outstanding Music and Lyrics category for the original song All For Us from HBO’s Euphoria. Robin Urdang, Daniel Palladino and Amy Sherman-Palladino won the Award in the Outstanding Music Supervision category for Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The film is directed by Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave, Shame, Widows) as part of his anthology series Small Axe and stars Amarah-Jae St. Aubyn, Micheal Ward, Francis Lovehall, Shaniqua Okwok, Ellis George, Kadeem Ramsay, Daniel Francis-Swaby, Kedar Williams-Stirling and Joshua Vine. The movie takes place during a blues party in the early 1980s and tells a story of young love. McQueen also co-wrote the script with Courttia Newland.
