A score album has been released for the biographical drama I Am Woman. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rafael May (Black Water, Sample People, Hearts and Bones). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. As previously reported, Milan Records has released a separate album featuring the Helen Reddy songs from the film performed by Chelsea Cullen this past August. I Am Woman is directed by Unjoo Moon and stars Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Evan Peters and Danielle Macdonald. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the family comedy The War with Grandpa directed by Tim Hill and starring Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, Oakes Fegley, Christopher Walken, Rob Riggle, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour. The film’s original score is composed by Aaron Zigman (The Notebook, Bridge to Terabithia, The Proposal, John Q, Sex and the City: The Movie). No word on a soundtrack release. Also opening nationwide is the music-themed drama Yellow Rose co-written and directed by Diane Paragas and starring Eva Noblezada, Salonga, Princess Punzalan, Watson, Gustavo Gomez, Libby Villari and Liam Booth. Christopher H. Knight (Echo Park) has composed the film’s original score and Paragas and Dale Watson have composed the movie’s original songs today. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs performed by the drama’s cast.
