Noah Sorota is scoring the upcoming Syfy original series Resident Alien. The show is developed by Chris Sheridan (Family Guy) based on the Dark Horse comic of the same title and stars Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund and Levi Fiehler. The comedy follows an alien that crash lands on Earth with a secret mission to kill all humans and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Dozo will release a soundtrack album for the period boxing drama In Full Bloom.The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrew Kawczynski (The Eight Hundred, The Corrupted, Sky Hunter). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 15 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. In Full Bloom is written and directed by Reza Ghassemi & Adam VillaSenor and stars Tyler Wood, Yusuke Ogasawara, Hoiroyuki Watanabe, Hazuki Kato, S. Scott McCracken, Stefanie Estes and Timothy V. Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Motherless Brooklyn, The Trial of the Chicago 7) has confirmed that he will be returning to score the upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel. The animated film will be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Voltron: Legendary Defender) and is being written by David Callahm (Wonder Woman 1984, The Expendables, Zombieland: Double Tap). No plot details have been announced yet. Shameik Moore will return as the voice of Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld is set to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman. Amy Pascal (Spider-Man: Far from Home, Bridge of Spies) is producing the Sony Pictures Animation & Marvel Entertainment production with Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie, 21/22 Jump Street). ‘The Midnight Sky’ Soundtrack Album Details

ABKCO Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original film The Midnight Sky. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, The Queen, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla). The soundtrack will be released on December 23 and is now available for pre-order here. (UPDATE 4/8/21: A CD version will be coming out on May 14, 2021 and is available for pre-order on Amazon). Two tracks (The Midnight Sky & Aether Spaceship) are already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Midnight Sky is directed by George Clooney who also stars in the film, alongside Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone. The post-apocalyptic drama is based on Lily Brooks-Dalton’s novel Good Morning, Midnight and follows a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop a woman and her fellow astronauts from returning home to Earth, where a mysterious global catastrophe has taken place. He is currently scoring the second season of the show developed by Bruno Heller based on DC characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger and starring Jack Bannon as Alfred Pennyworth and Ben Aldridge as Thomas Wayne, as well as Jason Flemyng, Emma Paetz, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson and Paloma Faith. They are joined by new series regulars James Purefoy, Edward Hogg, Jessye Romeo, Ramon Tikaram, Harriet Slater, Simon Manyonda and Jessica de Gouw. The new season is set a year after the events of last season as England finds itself embroiled in a devastating civil war, with the powerful, neo-fascist Raven Union threatening to control the entire country. ABKCO Records has announced the full details of the new soundtrack album for Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh and Jason Schwartzman. The Seven Evil Exes Edition features both the songs and the original score by Nigel Godrich from the movie. The album, which is being released coinciding with the film’s 10th Anniversary, features twelve previously unreleased tracks, including more performances by Sex Bob-Omb and demos from Beck, as well as Black Sheep by Metric and sung by actress Brie Larson. The 4-Picture Disc LP Collection, which also features notes by both Wright and Godrich, a new double-sided film poster and a coloring page with artwork by Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, will be released on March 26, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
